Kukumakranka
Kukumakranka! An expression of surprise. Also a most wondrous fragrant star-shaped white flower that appears around Christmas time in South Africa. Or an ingredient in brandy. A real shape-shifter of delight, it has edible fruit and a leek-like bulb.
It flowers but for a day.
