Lunch Time Bronze Contemplations

These were my first two bronzes. I remember that the model was beautiful, but very chatty.

It seems the cold weather may at last be over. It's time to wheel the lemon tree out - it's already budded again, and has its biggest specimen ever grinning at me gleefully: you're going into my tea tonight, young fellow! (I bet I'm one of the few unfortunate people who will sit contemplating for ten minutes as to whether the lemon is a miss, a missus, a lad; a fruit, should not anthropomorphise... at least I'm not agonizing over its dismay at being harvested, today. It smells good. It's a yellow day.)
